The disappears. I think this band will be the band that comes out of nowhere and blows everyone away at psychfest!!!! I cannot wait to see them live.

Foxygen - Make it Known
The leader of this Astoria, NY-based project Sam France evokes a young, brash Mick Jagger, throws in some Roxy Music-era Brian Eno, then swirls it on ice with some Roky Erickson. If that’s not rock n’ roll hyperbole, I don’t know what is. A music geek buddy of mine who works at a certain ‘major indie’ label passed me this band’s work saying, “This whole thing is wrecking me. A love letter to record collections.”
He’s right on - wondering if he’ll get this in the hands of his A&R team! This is raw talent; it deserves to be noticed. I instantly downloaded their entire catalogue - this track from amazing Take the Kids Off Broadway EP.
